Things About Me

Though residing in Merced, Ca., I am originally from Seattle (by way of Bellingham), Washington, where I have spent the formative years of my life.

My interest in Applied Math is primarily in Numerics, specifically I plan on researching Spectral Element formulations for structural and elastic (both static and dynamic), problems. Also, clearly, I know a lot of big words.

I have TA'd two undergraduate math classes at UC Merced now, Math 24 (Differential Equations & Linear Algebra), and Math 23 (Vector Calculus).

My advisor is Michael Sprague, who is currently attempting to turn me into a little version of himself. Unfortunately I am already bigger than he is, so there is likely to be some space left over... hopefully for tacos.
