research spotlight: experimental pictures and simulations
of a drop of ethanol undergoing partial coalescence with a lower reservoir
of ethanol.
Professor Francois Blanchette has been developing numerical
techniques, which allow accurate description of interfaces between
fluids such as those of drops and bubbles.
