Bio:
While staying close to home for college may not be everyone's idea of the perfect college experience, Merced native Selma Strango is glad she chose to stay. Majoring in Applied Mathematics, Selma transferred to U.C. Merced just 2 years ago from Merced College. During which time she continued participating in the community including working as an assistant swim coach at one of the local high schools. Now, she is excited to spend the summer completing research at U.C. Merced.
