Title: Characterizing Language and Users on Social Media
Abstract: This talk will discuss (1) past work done to address behaviors, discourse, and characteristics of social media users in the context of various socio-political and widespread events and (2) proposed future work to analyze opposing language types, as well as datasets created to address such studies.
