Title: Solving Sudoku: From Puzzle to Math Problem

Abstract: Sudoku puzzles have long been a favorite of mathematicians for both their simplicity and logical structure. This talk will examine some of the classic algorithms for solving an arbitrary puzzle and end with a neat formulation as an optimization problem.
