Welcome to the University of California at Merced SIAM Student Chapter
The UC Merced Chapter of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) is dedicated to enhancing the applied mathematics mission of the university and providing developmental opportunities to its students. UC Merced students from any department are encouraged to join the SIAM student chapter. UC Merced students are also eligible for a free membership with SIAM. We currently run the student-led SAMPLe (Some Applied Math for People to Learn) seminar every week and host the Central Valley Regional SIAM Student Chapter Conference each year.
