Bio: 
Radoslav Vuchkov is a fifth year graduate student in the Applied Mathematics Graduate Group at the University of California, Merced. He is working with Professor Noemi Petra on PDE-constrained inverse problem. Their main focus is the ice sheet dynamics and trying to invert for the basal sliding coefficient field for Antarctic ice sheet. Prior to his graduate studies at UC Merced, he studied at San Francisco State University where he obtained a master's degree in pure mathematics with Professor Serkan Hosten.
